Subatomic particles can be collided, and they will break up and disappear as visible matter, but the mass will return to non-visible matter, or dark matter as it is commonly called. Mass, of itself, is a dimension. Mass, of itself, exists as a non-material string. When space forms a self-contained structure of a quantum rotating magnetic field, it can capture a string of mass and become a subatomic particle. The subatomic particle of itself cannot exhibit the quality of temperature, but it must interact with other subatomic particles to produce this quality. This is the nature of complexity. The same thing is true for the units of potential, resistance, magnetic flux, and most all other physical units.
Temperature is a result of complexity. Similarly, complexity will produce other structures as molecules join together to produce crystals and cells. Cells can come together in complex arrangements and produce organs. Organs can come together in complex arrangements to produce humans. Humans can come together in complex social structures to produce families, communities, and larger governmental structures. Crystals and other molecular combinations can produce rocks, planets, stars; and the stars can group into galaxies, and the galaxies into clusters. Temperature is a creation of complexity, as are all things in the physical Universe are complex creations, and it all leads back to the Singularity (but not the same singularity as in the Big Bang theory).
